Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• +7 years of experience in software development with a primary focus on Python backend engineering and architecture.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks/libraries like Django, FastAPI, Flask, and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with cloud services (such as Azure, GCP, AWS) for deploying serverless applications, microservices, and containers.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures for integrating complex systems.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including developing technical offering materials, engaging with clients to understand their architectural needs, estimating efforts, and demonstrating the potential impact of our solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Preferred:

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for understanding full-stack integration requirements is advantageous but not required.
• Certifications or advanced training in Cloud Architecture, Python, or Security.
• Active participation in relevant tech communities or contributions to open-source projects in the Python ecosystem.
• Familiarity with RAG, LLMs, Vector Databases, and Agentic AI is a plus.

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions and high-performance APIs using Python frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Frontend Developers, DevOps) to integrate backend services into existing platforms and workflows.
• Optimize and fine-tune application performance, database queries, and system throughput.
• Build and optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) database schemas for complex data requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing updates.
• Stay up-to-date of developments in software engineering, Python standards, and cloud technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, API specifications, and deployment processes.
• Work with data engineers to ensure the integrity and availability of data pipelines.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards (OWASP, GDPR).
