Our client developes Operation Control Centers for numerous Rail end-users.
Within the Engineering Department of the Opps-ICS Business Segment (“Integrated Communications & Supervision”), which focuses on Operations Control and Passenger Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Release Manager to oversee and coordinate the successful public release for our strategic product Integrated Operation Control Center to our worldwide projects (in mainlines, tramway, and all major metro cities in the world).
This requires to master continuous integration and continuous delivery of multiple subsystems developed by global Scrum teams across five countries (Europe and Asia), and to maintain high standards of quality, governance, and collaboration.
Soft skills:
• Strong coordination skills across global teams and multiple time zones.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership abilities.
• Quality-driven mindset with strong user/customer focus, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.|
Hard skills:
• Extensive experience managing large-scale integrated systems and distributed development environments.
• Strong experience in SAFe like environment (preferably on worldwide & large solution configuration).
• Deep understanding and proven experience of CI/CD, DevOps practices, automation, and testing strategies.
• Proven experience in QA governance and non-functional testing.
• Define and execute the integration and validation strategy to guarantee release quality.
• Establish QA governance, including Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), and quality gates.
• Ensure successful quarterly public/internal delivery of the fully integrated solution.
• Orchestrate continuous integration of all subsystems developed by globally distributed Scrum teams up to the Solution
• Manage non-functional requirements (NFR) testing especially deployability, security (cyber & safety), scalability, performance, and robustness.
• Oversee platform infrastructure availability to enable efficient, reliable, and automated delivery workflows (CI/CD).
• Monitor and communicate key quality metrics including PCR status, test coverage, and release stability.
• Implement quality checkpoints: testing gates, validation steps, and integration controls.
• Drive continuous improvement based on release outcomes and team feedback.
• Ensure consistent configuration management and compliance with Data Continuity principles (Shared Palma).
• Coordinate cross-team integration checkpoints across time zones and geographies.
• Promote agile principles, support retrospectives, and help increase team maturity.
• Foster strong collaboration across development, QA, architecture, operations, and external partner teams (Digital platform team, customer projects, Engineering environment, etc.).
