Our client is the world’s leading company in the medical device sector. We design, develop, and test a complex mobile ecosystem (Android, iOS, Flutter) that collects therapy data from medical devices and presents it to patients and doctors via cloud services. The project focuses on life-saving tools that enhance the recovery process and support patients with permanent health disorders
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall experience, with a strong technical background in quality engineering and automation.
- Experience in providing high-level guidance for large-scale QA organizations, focusing on technical health rather than administrative management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or Python and experience collaborating with dedicated automation framework team to ensure the toolset meets project needs.
- Knowledge of and interest in implementing AI-driven solutions into the QA lifecycle to optimize testing processes and efficiency.
- Proven ability to present technical roadmaps and “sell” decisions to client, defending a point of view with professional diplomacy.
- Understanding of both Native (iOS, Android) and Cross-platform (Flutter) mobile projects to ensure the established strategy is followed.
- Proficiency in managing and “tuning” existing QA processes to keep them efficient and scalable in a multi-stream environment.
- Strong skills in eliciting and documenting technical requirements, acting as a bridge between the client’s vision and the team’s execution.
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level for active participation in technical negotiations and stakeholder management.
- Experience with Medical or Healthcare projects is a significant plus.
Job responsibilities
- Supervise and steer the technical execution of the established test strategy across several mobile sub-teams (30+ members).
- Collaborate with the dedicated Automation Framework team, ensuring the custom JS-based tools are effectively integrated and utilized
- Identify opportunities and lead the integration of AI tools/methods to enhance testing efficiency and automation coverage.
- Act as a Technical Consultant for the client, promoting “planned and correct” solutions and ensuring long-term technical stability.
- Coordinate technical issue resolution, providing expert advice on complex bottlenecks that span across different project streams.
- Monitor technical risks and scope, providing expert input for estimations and ensuring the project remains on the correct technical track.
- Ensure data integrity and reliability of the mobile ecosystem (Native & Flutter) interacting with medical devices and cloud services.
- Maintain delivery standards in configuration management, task management, and regular technical reporting.
- Participate in onsite technical alignment meetings with the client as needed.
