QA Automation Engineer
Core Focus: Python Test Automation, Mobile (iOS & Android), UI & API Testing Validation
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to design, scale, and
maintain end-to-end automation frameworks across web, mobile, and backend systems. In this
role, you will champion an automation-first mindset within an Agile/SAFe environment, validating
complex workflows across iOS and Android mobile apps, modern web applications, and
large-scale data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable Python-based automation frameworks.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for native/hybrid Android and iOS mobile applications.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test plans, write comprehensive test cases, and automate new features across platforms.
Execute and debug cross-browser test suites across modern web engines (Chromium,Firefox, WebKit).
Validate data pipelines, backend services, and database integrity across relational and distributed databases.
Drive an automation-first strategy while providing targeted manual test execution when needed for critical releases.
Required Technical Stack & Qualifications
Core Language: Strong Python 3.x programming skills (object-oriented design, async patterns, type hinting, JSON parsing).
Mobile App Automation: Strong, hands-on experience automating Android and iOS
applications (using tools such as Appium or mobile test runners integrated into Python frameworks).
UI & Browser Automation:
Hands-on expertise with Playwright (async implementation, multi-browser
contexts, route mocking, network interception).
Experience with Selenium WebDriver for enterprise and legacy workflows.
Experience with Robot Framework (authoring .robot suites with SeleniumLibrary or Playwright).
Data Validation:
Proficiency with Pandas for data manipulation and validation.
Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL / Citus, including schema validation,
server-side cursors, and connection management via psycopg2.
Methodology: Proven experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery models.
Nice to Have
Performance Testing: Working knowledge of JMeter or comparable load/stress testing tools.
Test Reporting & Observability: Hands-on experience with Allure Reports or custom HTML reporters.
Dashboards & Metrics: Familiarity with Plotly Dash, Matplotlib, or automated test run reporting (FPDF).
Networking: Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Must Have – Web App Automation, Mobile Testing, Appium , Python, Playwright or Selenium, Robot Framework, PostgreSQL
