The Japanese Language Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, multilingual Tier 1 support services, primarily in Japanese and English. This role involves managing complex support cases, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing essential backup for Team Lead responsibilities to ensure operational continuity and service excellence.

  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills

職務内容

  • Investigate and action support email cases in both Japanese and English, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Manage business queries in strict accordance with established company policies and guidelines.
  • Execute case transfers to appropriate specialized teams based on defined Transfer Rules.
  • Perform additional Tier 1 tasks as required to support team objectives.
  • Escalate technical and procedural issues via Radars or by informing the Team Lead.
  • Conduct peer reviews for team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Liaise with the POI team regarding pending or rejected RAPs.

Additional Ad-Hoc Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for Team Lead functions during absences or high-volume periods, including:
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for project and vendor managers.
  • Communicating daily task prioritizations and project updates to the team.
  • Consolidating productivity data for weekly management reports.
  • Coordinating PTO requests and clarifying training guidelines with relevant stakeholders.
