Client is company based in US, provides solutions and common infrastructure to enable telecommunications partners to deploy and expand next-generation technologies

必要条件

Expert knowledge as an Oracle DBA, qualification according to Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional or comparable, current project experience > 5 years
Very good knowledge of setting up RACs (on ODA) as well as monitoring and optimizing applications that run on the RAC, experience > 5 years
Very good knowledge of the administration and configuration of Oracle Database Appliances in the HA variant (ODA X8-HA, ODA X7-HA or ODA X5-HA), current project experience > 3 years
Good knowledge of Oracle Dataguard, experience > 2 years
Advanced Linux knowledge (shell, file management, processes and devices, resource monitoring, networks)

Optional requirements:

Good knowledge of installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager
Good knowledge of database monitoring with Icinga 2 or Nagios
Good knowledge of setting up and running RACs in VMs

職務内容

This profile focuses entirely on the data tier, the physical infrastructure, and the health of the Oracle Database running on your Exadata server.
Core Responsibilities:
Managing database storage, performance tuning (indexing, execution plans), and Exadata-specific features (Smart Scans, Hybrid Columnar Compression).
Ensuring data security, user access control at the schema level, and data encryption.
Handling backup, recovery, patching, and high availability (Oracle RAC/Data Guard).
Scope in your stack: They control the Exadata container/pluggable databases (CDBs/PDBs) where your APEX applications and the OAS Repository Creation Utility (RCU) schemas live.
