Job Description
Senior developer is a Senior Engineering member in a Scrum team, responsible for ensuring the engineering deliverables are on schedule and on quality, on the application/product features owned. This is a hands-on engineering role and you’ll work on design, development and testing of critical and complex features and also guide and mentor the junior developers in the team.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
6+ years professional experience building production web applications, with genuine full-stack range but a clear frontend specialty.
Strong, current React and TypeScript skills; comfortable owning component architecture, not just implementing designs.
Experience with a static-site or SSG framework such as Docusaurus, Next.js, Gatsby, or similar.
Solid CSS/SCSS skills and experience working within or consuming a shared design system / component library.
Able to write and maintain lightweight backend or serverless code (Node.js) — auth flows, API calls, form/email handling.
Familiarity with modern frontend build tooling (Vite, Webpack, or similar) and Git-based CI/CD workflows.
Experience writing unit/component tests (Jest and React Testing Library or equivalent).
Working knowledge of web accessibility and performance best practices.
Well-versed in working in product engineering teams, following agile development best practices and adhering to all Scrum ceremonies.
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have (Docs & Developer Experience):
Experience building or maintaining developer-facing API documentation (OpenAPI/Redoc, GraphQL docs, or interactive API explorers).
Experience with enterprise search platforms (Coveo, Algolia, Elasticsearch) or search relevance tuning.
Experience with cross-iframe/cross-window communication (postMessage, Penpal, or similar) for embedded applications.
Experience with Markdown/MDX-based content pipelines and working alongside technical writers.
End-to-end testing experience (Playwright or Cypress).
Prior experience on a documentation, developer experience, or internal platform/tools team.

Job Responsibilities:
Develops software solutions by studying the requirements, conferring with the product owner, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Designs, codes, tests, and deploys complex product/application features meeting defined coding standards and engineering best practices.
Performs design and code review (post peer-review) to ensure design and coding best practices are followed.
Ensures assigned deliverables are delivered on schedule and on quality.
Documents and demonstrates software solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, charts, code comments, and updating knowledge artifacts.
Flags any risks, issues, or dependencies to the Team Lead or Engineering Manager for speedy resolution.
Contributes effectively in all Scrum ceremonies to ensure sprint goals and objectives are met.
Ensures development of complex product/application features meets exit/DoD criteria.
Quickly troubleshoots issues, develops resolutions, and implements fixes — works independently with minimal direction and guidance.
Ensures defined quality standards across the end-to-end product development lifecycle (design, coding, unit/integration/regression/acceptance testing, release) on features owned.
Mentors, coaches, and supports junior team members to help the team achieve its objectives and goals.
