We are seeking a senior power systems professional with 15+ years of industry experience to help create digital engineering solutions across the full lifecycle of substations, critical-power infrastructure—including data centers—and microgrids.
This role works with power-system subject-matter experts, customers, product managers, software engineers, UX specialists, and data teams to turn practical engineering, commercial, construction, automation, operations, and maintenance needs into scalable digital products.
The successful candidate must bring direct experience from a power utility, system operator, EPC contractor, critical-power or data-center owner/operator, microgrid developer, automation provider, or electrical-equipment manufacturer.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
15+ years of professional experience in substations, critical-power projects, data-center electrical infrastructure, microgrids, utilities, EPC organizations, system integrators, or electrical-equipment manufacturers.
Demonstrable direct experience working for a power utility, system operator, EPC contractor, data-center owner/operator, critical-power provider, microgrid developer, automation provider, or electrical-equipment manufacturer.
Strong knowledge of the full project and asset lifecycle, from RFI/RFQ/RFP response and conceptual design through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and modernization.
Practical experience with substation design, protection and control, power-system automation, data-center electrical architecture, or microgrid systems.
Proven understanding of the role and interaction of primary electrical equipment, protection-and-control systems, automation software, and operational systems.
Experience reviewing technical specifications, identifying compliance gaps, managing technical clarifications, and supporting technical proposals.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both power-system professionals and digital technology teams.

Required Qualifications
Define, validate, and prioritize digital solutions for substation, critical-power, data-center, and microgrid applications.
Work with subject-matter experts and customers to identify process gaps, operational challenges, and high-value digitalization opportunities.
Translate domain needs into product requirements, workflows, user stories, data models, business rules, and digital-solution roadmaps.
Support lifecycle workflows from requirements and bids through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and upgrades.
Shape digital tools for specification review, RFI/RFQ/RFP response, bid management, design coordination, equipment selection, compliance assessment, technical-risk management, documentation, testing, commissioning, and asset lifecycle management.
Collaborate with product, UX, software, and data teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, user-centered, and suitable for real project workflows.
Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, pilots, and implementation activities.
Validate solution concepts with domain experts and end users.
Build reusable knowledge assets covering processes, equipment, technical standards, engineering rules, automation architectures, lifecycle data, and industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Power Systems, High-Voltage Engineering, Protection and Control, Power Electronics, Automation, Smart Grids, or a related field.
Experience with IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus, OPC UA, or similar industrial communication standards.
Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and relevant utility, critical-power, data-center, and electrical-safety standards.
Experience with SCADA, EMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS, microgrid-control platforms, digital substations, or asset-performance-management systems.
Experience with digital transformation, industrial software, engineering applications, PLM, ERP, MES, BIM, digital twins, or asset-management platforms.
