Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in manual testing processes, test case creation, and defect management. While the primary responsibility will be manual testing, experience or familiarity with Playwright automation tools is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
3-5 years of experience in manual testing.
Strong knowledge of SQL for backend/database validation.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
Experience with test case management tools.
Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Azure Devops.
Exposure to testing web-based and desktop applications.
Product testing.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience or working knowledge of Playwright automation framework.
Basic scripting experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (or any language used in Playwright).
Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on business and technical requirements.
Perform various types of testing including Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Smoke testing.
Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Azure DevOps.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Work alongside automation engineers; optionally assist in creating scripts using Playwright.
