Description
The Non-Technical Sales/Upsell Agent III focuses on accelerating the commercial pipeline of the ISV Marketplace. This role acts as a primary business interface during the Pre-Onboarding phase, collaborating with Sales teams to pitch the Marketplace value proposition, guiding partners through contractual agreements, and qualifying private or resell opportunities to eliminate «deal drag».
Experience: 6–8 years of experience in partner operations, SaaS sales support, channel enablement, account management, or marketplace operations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in B2B tech sales support, account management, channel operations, or software partner enablement.
- Strong familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) and contract lifecycle management software (gCLM).
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of handling partner agreements and explaining complex financial/revenue-share models.
- Ability to work efficiently alongside highly technical engineering teams.
Job responsibilities
- Pre-Onboarding & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary business contact for new vendors, driving relationship-building and resolving non-technical inquiries throughout the pre-onboarding lifecycle.
- Contractual & Legal Support (MVA): Manage the Marketplace Vendor Agreement (MVA) process, ensuring signed agreements and full legal/policy compliance with business requirements.
- Sales & Pitch Collaboration: Partner directly with the sales team to clarify the marketplace business model, monetization strategies, and revenue-share models during vendor pitches.
- Deal Qualification & Desk Operations: Optimize deal desk operations by streamlining custom Private Offers and Resell channel opportunities, filtering out low-probability accounts to reduce «deal drag».
- Tool & Process Proficiency: Actively use business systems including SFDC (Salesforce), Vector, Orbitera, gCLM, and MVA Click to Deploy (C2D).
