Requirements
(Must-Have)Telecom Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with Telecom OSS/NMS platforms, specifically in deployment, administration, or operations.
NMS administaration and engineering, like ENM or MantaRay Expertise or U2000 or similar : Hands-on experience with NMS architecture, system administration, and component maintenance.
Upgrade Execution: Proven track record of planning and executing complex software upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and rollback procedures during maintenance windows.
Linux Administration: Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, with a specific focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Virtualization: Practical experience managing applications deployed on VMware, OpenStack, or KVM environments.
Database Basics: Core understanding of Oracle Database administration, including basic troubleshooting, backup/recovery procedures, and writing SQL queries.
Networking & Security: Solid knowledge of core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, NTP) and network security/firewall configurations.
Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills with experience in log analysis, alarm investigation, stack failure resolution, and delivering Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
(Nice-to-Have)Containerization: Experience or familiarity with cloud-native environments, specifically OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Migrations: Prior experience supporting platform migrations from legacy hardware to virtualized or cloud infrastructures.
Vendor Coordination: Experience collaborating directly with vendor support teams and third-party customer operations.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE), Oracle, or VMware are a major plus.

Job responsibilities
Execute upgrades: Plan and install NMS software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes during maintenance windows.
Maintain systems: Manage Linux-based (RHEL) servers, monitor performance, and ensure database availability.
Support migrations: Move platforms to virtualized (VMware/OpenStack) or cloud environments and coordinate data migrations.
Integrate networks: Verify interface compatibility between ENM, OSS, EMS, and multi-vendor network elements.
Troubleshoot & RCA: Analyze logs, clear system alarms, resolve stack failures, and deliver Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Collaborate: Partner with vendor support teams and customer operations to resolve critical incidents.
