We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and self-driven Senior QA Engineer to extend our team for the Agentic Maintenance Platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with 2+ years testing complex backend systems, integration platforms or AI/ML-driven applications.
• Expertise in Python or a similar language for deep automation and scripting.
• Proficiency in API testing and validating data persistence/audit logs in a database environment.
• Proven ability to define and drive a QA strategy from scratch, turning high-level requirements (functional & non-functional) into clear, executable, and automated test plans.
• Prior experience setting up QA for a containerized (Docker/Kubernetes) environment.
• Conceptual understanding of LLM application development, agentic frameworks and principals of testing complex AI systems
• Experience working in industrial, manufacturing or operations technology domains
• Experience in operational liability, such as managing SLA and handling system downtimes.
• Written and spoken Japanese language proficiency (equivalent of at least JLPT N3 or higher, official JLPT certification is not a must)
• Written and spoken English language proficiency (equivalent of B2 or higher)

Job responsibilities

As the sole QA expert, you will build the QA function from the ground up, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of a system:

• Work with the end-to-end QA lifecycle; translate requirements into manual test cases and then automated test plans
• Contribute to the Python-based automation framework and integration with CI/CD.
• Rigorously test complex, non-deterministic AI agent logic
• Test the stability and data integrity of all MCP connectors to external systems (Monday.com, Salesforce, Outlook)
• Conduct functional, responsiveness, performance and other testing defined by QA strategy
