Description

We are developing the next generation of SPA Infotainment solution based on Android Automotive OS with QNX hypervisor as the foundation. Our software development focuses on Infotainment Head Unit Platform (IHU/DHU/UXC) on Android Automotive for both iCUP and SPA platforms.

Development is conducted in-house with collaboration from our strategic partners Google, Aptiv, Qualcomm, and QNX. This project involves creating sophisticated software download solutions that meet complex requirements from both Volvo system and Android Platform.

Requirements

• Proficient understanding of high-level C++ programming.
• Extensive experience with embedded operating systems, including FreeRTOS, Safe RTOS, QNX, and Linux (Kernel and platform level Android).
• Strong knowledge of QNX and Android platforms, with hands-on experience in Software Download components.
• Proven experience working with requirements—reviewing, contributing, implementing, and testing them successfully.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to lead and encourage a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing and resolving complex technical issues.
• Ability to mentor and guide team members, encouraging their growth and development.
• Capable of facing new challenges and implementing innovative solutions with determination and focus.
• Experience in understanding and maintaining existing technical solutions, ensuring their ongoing efficiency.

Job responsibilities

• Support and lead the team in software download development, driving innovation and excellence.
• Find technical solutions that fulfill the complex requirements of both Volvo system and Android Platform, ensuring a seamless integration.
• Apply both in-house and Android/QNX technical solutions to deliver outstanding results.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Technical Teams, and Support Functions to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Coordinate with senior developers and platform teams to ensure consistent delivery and effective communication across all stages of development.
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems with a strategic approach.
• Understand existing solutions and maintain them to ensure long-term success.
• Review, contribute to, implement, and test requirements to ensure they are met with precision.
