Description

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely with in USA to be $125K to $135K and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Requirements

6 years in programming, involving the development of RESTful APIs at the back-end with NodeJS, Express, KOA, GraphQL, or Next.
Familiarity with Postgres SQL or other relational databases.
Understanding of continuous integration pipelines, observability, monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture.
Proven ability to resolve real-time service problems using monitoring tools to analyze service architecture and identify root causes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on critical tasks.

Job responsibilities

Perform and lead system analysis and programming activities, ensuring timely, effective, and high-quality software delivery.
Provide technical and engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until retirement.
Develop, test, and review applications based on business requirements and industry guidelines.
Provide mentorship to develop and modify code, considering the impact on end users and internal teams.
Review code developed by less experienced team members, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Lead cross-team projects as needed, handling critical tasks and deliverables independently.
Participate in and lead cross-functional meetings and discussions.
Develop required technical documentation and adhere to departmental and corporate standards.
Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve software development processes.
Lead unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of developed software.
Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
Contribute to product architecture and perform other job duties as assigned.
