GlobalLogic seeks a Technical Project Manager to deliver OSS/BSS projects (staff augumentation, delivery), for telecom networks and applications for global clients including leading CSPs and NEPs. As Technical Project Manager, you will own P&L, delivery assurance, resource planning, and customer relationship management for high-impact telecom projects (OSS/BSS, DevOps), managing distributed teams of 75+ people, act as the bridge between client needs and resource delivery to ensure seamless team integration and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex, multi-country Telecom projects for CSPs and NEPs (OSS/BSS, network virtualization, automation, DevOps).
Manage large cross-functional teams (50+ resources): mentoring, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and hiring.
Lead staffing strategy sessions to identify project resource needs and define sourcing requirements.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of contract or temporary personnel for various projects.
Monitor consultant performance, facilitate regular evaluations, and address any performance issues promptly.
Collaborate with client teams to understand evolving business requirements and adjust resource plans as needed.
Track project deliverables, deadlines, and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and control costs.
Act as the primary point of contact for all client communications regarding project staffing, escalation, and reporting.
Maintain accurate records of all project staff, including contracts, timesheets, and feedback.
Analyze project metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimizations.
Contribute in pre-sales, RFP responses to drive business growth.
Contribute to thought leadership in telecom trends (OSS/BSS evolution, cloud-native architectures).
Required Experience & Skills
10-12+ years’ telecom IT experience, with at least 3–4 years in a delivery/project/program management role.
Proven delivery track record for major CSPs/NEPs globally, including hands-on leadership for teams of 50+ engineers.
Mandatory in-depth expertise in OSS/BSS background and project delivery (order care, billing, orchestration, service assurance).
Solid experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Agile frameworks, network and cloud automation tooling.
Extensive exposure to cross-border, distributed delivery (Americas, Europe, APAC).
Ability to lead transformation for next-gen telecom platforms: 5G, SDN, NFV, cloud-native, Open APIs.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and crisis resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Engineering graduate or above (Computer Science, Electronics/Telecom, or related).
Certifications in project/program management (PMP/Prince2/Safe) and/or technical disciplines (AWS, Azure, network/vendor-specific).
Prior experience in managing engagements with Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, and Tier-1 CSPs is highly desirable.
