Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Should have 12+ years of experience with strong engineering management skills, while working in product
development organizations with a proven experience of developing scalable products
Should have handled engineering delivery for 2-4 Scrum teams, as an engineering manager
Experience in full-stack enterprise Java development, including HTML5, JavaScript, Angular/React, Spring
MVC, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, React, React Native, Redux, Hibernate, JPA, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, with
understanding of architecture, design patterns, coding best-practices, testing and release methodologies
Strong understanding of multi-tenant, cloud-based, high-transaction systems
Expertise in Scaled Agile (e.g., SAFe), Scrum, Lean quality, and test automation methodologies. Experience
working with RTEs, STEs, and stakeholders to align and execute strategic themes
Strategic technical thinker capable of developing and communicating a product-aligned technology
roadmap
Proven leadership skills to develop and manage cross-functional engineering teams
Effective collaboration skills to support teams in problem-solving and decision-making
Strong knowledge of continuous delivery and agile at scale practices
Ability to serve as an Agile coach and advisor, promoting a self-directed and accountable team culture
Balances technical oversight with empowering teams to innovate and own their solutions
Strong leadership, people management and organizational skills
Excellent communication, motivational, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Overall responsibility of ensuring the engineering deliverables by the Scrum teams, are on schedule and
on quality, adhering to the engineering standards, best-practices and metrics
Define product technology strategy and vision
Manage and prioritize technology roadmap and initiatives
Own engineering key results and performance metrics
Overseeing the risks, issues, dependencies and actions for the scrum teams are addressed and flagging
the ones that need leadership attention
Product Strategy, Vision, and Planning
Partner with Product Managers to develop a technology-aligned product vision and roadmap
Participate in PI planning and agile ceremonies to provide technical insights for prioritization and delivery
Identify technology enhancements, product gaps, and feature ideas to inform the roadmap
Recommend strategic technology investments aligned with business goals and user needs
Support product teams in translating complex business needs into user stories and technical solutions
Keeping up-to-date with latest industry trends, upcoming technologies and developments.
Product Design and Development
Oversee design, development, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions across product teams
Establish and enforce technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for consistency and quality
Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to manage system dependencies and risks
Participate in agile development events such as demos and reviews
Foster an environment where engineers are encouraged to experiment and contribute new technical
ideas
Provide constructive feedback through code reviews to enhance technical value and quality
Building High-Performance Teams with a focus on career development and innovation, from Recruitment,
Personal Development, Performance, Coaching, Motivation perspective. Mentoring the teams in handling
the aspirations of the individual team members and guiding the team in training and upskilling initiatives
Performance Measurement and Optimization
Monitor delivery and quality metrics at the product level to identify trends and drive technical
improvements

availability, performance & security)
