In 2025, the Hitachi Group launched PLEDGES, a seven-pillar Sustainability structure. GlobalLogic aligns fully with PLEDGES through our own material goals. We report annually on our progress towards defined targets and deadlines.

Planet Ambition

Lead global green transformation toward decarbonization.
Our goals:

  • Carbon neutrality across all GlobalLogic operations by FY2030
  • 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, from an FY2024 baseline
  • ISO 14001 (environmental management system) certification at all sites with more than 50 employees (excluding co-working spaces)

Lead transformation with people who can boldly take on societal issues.
Our goals:

  • Employee growth mindset score of 70 points by the end of FY27

Empowerment Ambition

Build a culture that champions learning and rewards challenge and growth.
Our goals:

How We Deliver Across People, Planet, and Principles

Developing People and Strengthening Communities

Our people are the heart of everything we do. We invest in learning, career development, wellbeing, and inclusive opportunities. We allot 35 hours to every employee for our annual learning mandate. In FY2025, we completed performance and career development reviews for 98% of our workforce.
Extending into our communities, we sponsor STEM education, school and university partnerships, volunteering, and environmental restoration. In FY2025, our India CSR program involved 1,488 employees on the ground, 2,078 volunteer hours, 40 community initiatives, and 11 non-profit partnerships.

Managing Our Footprint. Improving Yours.

Even though we don’t manufacture products (hardware or software) and lease all our offices, we are accountable for our environmental footprint. From electricity, water, and waste to sustainable procurement and travel, we manage it deliberately. In FY2025, we conducted our baseline greenhouse gas inventory. We aim to meet Hitachi’s 42% Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction by 2030 and carbon neutrality across all operations by FY2030.
In service of Hitachi’s core commitment as catalysts for Social Innovation, we harness digital engineering to solve complex challenges that benefit both Planet and Society. This approach is a deep source of pride for our people, allowing them to contribute to work that expresses their personal values.

Anchoring Trust Through Responsible Governance

Strong governance ensures responsible operations and long-term value creation. We maintain frameworks for business ethics, operational risk, cybersecurity, data privacy, responsible procurement, and health and safety.
Our Sustainability Steering Committee includes the Head of Sustainability and C-suite members. They meet quarterly and report to the Hitachi Sustainability Promotion Division. In FY2025, we completed a double materiality assessment with an independent consultancy, identifying six topics that direct our strategy. We also completed CSRD and EU Taxonomy gap and eligibility assessments for mandatory reporting.

Recognition

EcoVadis Gold Recognition for Sustainability Excellence

GlobalLogic earned an EcoVadis Gold (87) medal for 2026, in the 98th percentile overall out of 150,000 companies worldwide, and top 1% in Computer programming, consultancy, and related activities. EcoVadis is the leading solution for monitoring sustainability in global supply chains across environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

  • As part of Hitachi, we earned 2025 CDP A-Lister status in Climate Change and Water, one of only 78 enterprises to do so globally.
  • 2025 Association for Talent Development BEST Award
