Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Engineering Manager to lead large-scale engineering teams and drive delivery of mission-critical enterprise software. The ideal candidate is a seasoned technology leader with deep technical expertise, strong execution skills, and experience building high-performing teams in fast-paced product organizations.
This role involves leading multiple engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality product delivery.

Requirements

  • 12 to 20 years of total experience with 3–7 years in Engineering leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of ERP experience (any ERP).
  • Strong experience managing and scaling engineering teams across geographies.
  • Technical background in Java/J2EE or .NET or Frontend (JS/React) or DBMS.
  • Deep knowledge of modern architectures: microservices, cloud-native (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed systems.
  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and distributed delivery.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and vendor management.
  • Experience leading modernization, re-platforming, and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering toolchains.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple engineering teams (60–80 engineers) delivering enterprise-grade applications.
  • Drive engineering strategy, technical roadmap, and execution aligned with business goals.
  • Provide leadership in system architecture, design reviews, and solving complex technical challenges.
  • Partner with Product Management on roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery governance.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices: code quality, security, scalability, and automation.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders and teams; build a high-performance culture.
  • Establish KPIs/OKRs for tracking delivery velocity, quality, and engineering efficiency.
  • Improve Agile delivery processes, sprint planning accuracy, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Identify technical risks, system bottlenecks, and drive architectural improvements.
  • Represent Engineering during executive reviews, planning meetings, and steering committees.
  • Promote DevOps culture and work closely with Ops/Security teams for CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
