Experienced in at least one end to end implementation for Workday HCM
Extensive hands on experience with integrations, calc fields, security, migrations
Strong understanding of EIB, Core Connector Worker, Core Connector Benefit, Workday Studio,
Navigations, Search,
Security, Reports, etc.
Good coding, testing, implementing, debugging and documentation skills.
Good understanding and hands on with XSLT
Good understands ISU, ISSG, Integration Scheduling, monitoring and troubleshooting
Ability to communicate and articulate technical information.
High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments.
Ability to work in a diverse multi-national and multi-vendor environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Possessing 5-8 years of progressive experience in Workday system engineering, demonstrating a strong track record of successful implementation and optimization within enterprise environments.
- This role operates entirely remotely, requiring a high degree of self-motivation and effective virtual collaboration to deliver impactful solutions from any suitable location.
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in DTS (Data Transformation Services) is required, encompassing a foundational understanding of its core functionalities and applications within enterprise systems.
- A strong working knowledge of API Integration principles and practices is essential, including a basic understanding of various integration patterns and protocols.
- Proficiency in ERP Integration methodologies is mandatory, requiring a fundamental grasp of connecting disparate enterprise resource planning systems.
Preferred Skills:
- A solid capability in Coordinación De Equipos (Team Coordination) is highly preferred, facilitating effective collaboration across diverse project teams.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio to support critical business processes.
- Design and configure Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, and Talent Management, to align with evolving business requirements.
- Lead the creation and optimization of advanced custom reports and calculated fields within the Workday platform for enhanced data analytics.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for Workday system issues, ensuring minimal disruption and high system availability.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Contribute to the architectural design and strategic planning for Workday system enhancements and new module implementations.
- Manage and execute Workday data conversions and migrations, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and successful system transitions.
- Define and implement robust Workday security configurations, roles, and permissions to maintain data confidentiality and access control.
- Mentor junior Workday engineers, providing guidance on best practices, technical challenges, and professional development.
- Conduct thorough testing of Workday configurations and integrations, documenting results and ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Workday processes, configurations, and integration specifications to support ongoing operations.
- Analyze Workday system performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations and internal security policies within the Workday environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for Workday functionalities and operational workflows, enhancing overall system utility.
