Description

We are looking for a Network Observability Engineer with 3+ years of experience in network operations, troubleshooting, and diagnostics across multi-vendor environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Network Engineering, NOC L2/L3, or Network Operations.
  • Proven experience with multi-vendor CLI environments and protocol diagnostics (Cisco, Aruba, Allied Telesis).
  • Hands-on knowledge of log normalization frameworks (ECS schema, Syslog standards).
  • Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Ansible) for validating CLI commands and automation workflows.

Job responsibilities

  • Deep Log Analysis & ECS: Master the ability to parse and translate raw, multi-vendor logs into normalized Elastic Common Schema (ECS) mappings.
  • Topology & Multi-Device Fluency: Understand complex, end-to-end network topologies beyond basic routers/switches (AP-to-WLC, IoT gateways, firewalls).
  • Manual Device Inspection: Perform hands-on CLI debugging, interface status verification, and physical resource checks (PoE budgets, CPU/memory spikes).
  • Anomaly Hunting & Tuning: Collaborate on Anomaly Detection initiatives by analyzing missed anomalies and proposing new detection rules/baselines.
