Requirements

We are seeking a highly meticulous and motivated Annotation Engineer to join our team in the client’s office. In this critical role, you will be responsible for labeling and verifying complex data collected from our fleet of test vehicles. You will be the crucial link between raw sensor data and our machine learning models, directly impacting the performance and safety of our future vehicles.

You will be embedded within our development process, working closely with engineers to ensure our data is perfect. Your insights will be essential for improving our systems.

Required:

• Exceptional attention to detail: You must be able to spot small inconsistencies and maintain high accuracy over long periods.
• Strong computer literacy: Comfortable learning and using new, specialized software tools.
• Good communication skills in English: Ability to clearly articulate problems and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• High motivation: A self-starter who can manage their own time and tasks effectively.
• Patience and focus: Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining high quality.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• Previous experience in data annotation or data labeling, especially with 2D/3D sensor data.
• Familiarity with annotation tools.
• Driving license

Job responsibilities

Precise Data Annotation: Perform detailed annotation of multi-modal sensor data, including:

• Cameras: 2D and 3D bounding boxes, semantic segmentation, lane marking, and object identification (e.g., pedestrians, vehicles, traffic signs).
• LiDAR: Point cloud segmentation and 3D object tracking.
• Radar: Object detection and classification.

Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks on your own work and that of your peers to ensure all annotations meet our high-accuracy standards and project guidelines.

Rapid Feedback Loop: Work directly with our engineering and R&D teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Process Improvement: Proactively identify and communicate ambiguous cases, sensor anomalies, and edge cases to the development team.

Efficiency: Help refine annotation tools and workflows to shorten feedback cycles and eliminate wasted time, making our development process faster and more agile.
