We are looking to build multiple value stream teams composed of Front-End/Back-end Software/Data and Infrastructure engineering. We need people that can work hands-on as engineers solving complex problems and building advance software solutions. We face daily challenges that are both unique and engaging, while processing data at petabyte scale. That is over one trillion data points in multiple different data periods. Must Have
UI Test Automation: Playwright, TypeScript

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Scala for writing test scripts and automation
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases

Big Data:

• Big data frameworks: Hadoop and Spark ecosystem navigation and testing
• Data Warehousing: Understanding of data storage and retrieval validation
• Datalake architecture and testing strategies
• ETL Testing: Extract, Transform, Load
• Data Quality Testing: Data profiling, validation, and verification for integrity and accuracy

Cloud & AWS Expertise

• AWS Services: Athena, Glue, S3,

UI & API Testing

• Frontend Technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript

• Authentication flows: Okta, OAuth, JWT token handling

 

Automation & CI/CD

• Test Automation Frameworks: Playwright
• CI/CD Integration: GitHub Actions, Docker
• Programming Languages: Scala, TypeScript for automation scripts
• Page Object Model design patterns and maintainable test architecture

 

Reporting & Analytics

• Team Communication: Slack integration and automated notifications

Job responsibilities

Data Platform Testing

• Test big data ingestion and aggregation flows and related queries
• Develop automation frameworks using Scala for big data workflows
• Automate data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing validation
• Debug and troubleshoot issues within the big data ecosystem

 

UI & Frontend Testing

• Design and maintain end-to-end test suites using Playwright and BDD practices
• Implement Page Object Model patterns for scalable UI test architecture
• Test UI applications with comprehensive component and integration coverage
• Validate GraphQL APIs and frontend-backend integration points

 

Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Define test strategy and write test plans for data platform enhancements and new features
• Establish operating procedures, service monitors, and alerts
• Conduct system & performance testing of data platforms and applications
• Provide technical consultation in design, development, and testing of complex projects

 

Test Development & Maintenance

• Review product specifications and develop comprehensive test cases and plans
• Identify technical interdependencies and suggest solutions
• Recreate complex customer and production issues for root cause analysis
• Maintain test data provisioning and fixture management

 

DevOps & Automation

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Manage test environments using Docker and cloud infrastructure
• Configure automated test execution with cron scheduling
• Handle test artifacts storage in AWS S3 and reporting systems

 

Soft Skills & Experience

• Excellent analytical skills for large dataset analysis and trend identification
• Strong problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting data-related issues
• Communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction
• Scrum team experience and Agile development methodologies
