We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of experience to join us on a contract basis for a focused initiative aimed at enhancing and validating a key system in our platform. This hybrid role combines hands-on QA testing (automation and manual) with agile team leadership, including Scrum Master or lightweight project management responsibilities.

This is ideal for a candidate who balances strong technical QA skills with the ability to lead agile ceremonies, track sprint goals, and drive delivery outcomes in a collaborative environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We’re a supportive, inclusive group that values collaboration and fosters a strong sense of belonging. Our team operates with transparency and alignment, guided by scaled agile practices that promote continuous improvement.

We’re driven by values that shape how we work together every day:

Teamwork, ownership, accountability, proactivity, transparency, empathy, inclusivity, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in quality assurance, with strong hands-on experience in test automation and manual testing.
  • Shown experience leading delivery workflows, either acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Lead

Proficency with:

  • Automation frameworks: Playwright or Cypress, Selenium
  • Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Frontend testing: Jest, React Testing Library
  • CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
  • Monitoring tools: DataDog
  • Experience writing detailed test plans, test cases, and handling structured manual regression testing.
  • Ability to define and maintain robust automated test suites in a microservices or distributed environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Docker) and concepts like deployment environments and logs.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across engineering, product, and design teams.
  • Proficiency in English.

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to translate requirements into clear test coverage.
  • Ensure product quality, reliability, and performance through scalable and repeatable testing practices.
  • Use CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to integrate testing workflows into the delivery pipeline.
  • Monitor application behavior and errors using tools like DataDog to inform test improvements.
