Requirements

Data Analyst experience: Proven track record in data analysis, including data collection, cleaning, processing, and interpretation.
SQL expertise: Advanced proficiency in writing and executing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various database sources.
Monitoring and visualization tools: Experience creating dashboards with Power BI, as well as with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, AppDynamics, or Splunk.
API testing: Practical experience using Postman to inspect and validate API data payloads.

 

Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and diagnostic abilities to troubleshoot data issues in a complex system.
Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
Experience developing microservices with Java.
Skilled in building and working with distributed systems.

Job responsibilities

Data triage and investigation: Troubleshoot and diagnose data-related problems within a distributed ETL/microservices environment. Trace data issues across multiple services and ETL Processes to pinpoint the root cause.
Data quality management: Work with business users and other stakeholders to define and validate data fixes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Implement or coordinate the application of these fixes.
Performance monitoring: Use tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk to proactively monitor system and data performance. Analyze metrics to anticipate and identify bottlenecks before they impact the business.
Data visualization and reporting: Design and create dashboards in Power BI, AppDynamics, or Splunk to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
API data validation: Utilize tools like Postman to query APIs directly. This is critical for testing data responses and validating that microservices are producing the correct data.
Stakeholder communication: Act as a liaison between technical and business teams. Effectively communicate complex data insights, performance issues, and solution recommendations to diverse audiences.
Support the team in analyzing code behavior, identifying root causes of issues, and recommending improvements.
Represent the team in cross-functional discussions, offering domain insights and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality solutions.
