Description

An AWS-based internal data mesh platform with approximately 100 data products providing complete vehicle history and analytics. The platform handles several hundred TiB of data, supports over 1500 global users, and enables efficient evaluation of vehicle events to help improve quality processes and customer experience.

Requirements

Years of Experience 8+

Understanding raw and metadata generated by various systems in various formats
Work together with subject matter experts and define technical aspects of metadata implementation and metadata scheme structure
Gather and define requirements, prioritize and understand technical and business constraints
Toolbox Highlights (no particular order): AWS, Python, AI, BigQuery, Big Data Processing, Spark, Dask, Data Analysis, Data Science, AWS Glue, Qlik
Soft Skill Highlights: Productivity planning, Critical thinking, Conflict Management

Job responsibilities

Highly experienced data scientist, ideally with automotive / engineering background
High capacity to understand context and drive discussions with customer
Experience required on projects starting from ideation and leading customer to the desired outcome, while considering project constraints
Strong understanding of technical and business requirements
Resilient, proactive, trustworthy, transparent and team oriented
Proficient communication skills in English
Big data technologies knowledge
