Description

Accounting department is responsible for preparing the financial statements, maintaining the general ledger, paying bills, billing customers, payroll, cost accounting, financial analysis, and more. Revenue team as a part of accounting department is responsible for revenue recognition according to local GAAP and IFRS, collections and intercompany transactions. Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • 3-5+ years of progressive experience in credit management, accounts receivable, revenue management
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills in multicultural and international company
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner
  • Preferable work experience with Oracle or other international ERP
  • Experience with IFRS standards is a plus

Job responsibilities

Related to revenue and collection:

  • Revenue recognition as per Local stat requirements
  • IFRS/Stat Adjustments
  • Support for Order-to-cash team in case of non-standard cases or compliance with local regulations
  • Month-end close: responsibility for timely closure of project and AR module, revaluation of balances in foreign currency
  • Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, schedules and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Issue intercompany invoices and non-project invoices
  • Report for local authorities (banks, Statistic office, social insurance, etc.) related to revenue
  • Support external and internal audits
  • Local requirements setup in ERP (SAFT, e-invoicing etc.)
  • Support credit setting and determining credit worthiness of customers (ad hoc)
  • Early involvement in decisions on unusual customer contracts (non-standard billing and collection terms, rebates, etc.)
  • Manage credit overdue, bad debt evaluation, litigation activities, process write offs
