HIL Manual Tester / HIL Operator IRC286028

Description

We are looking for a HIL Manual Tester / HIL Operator to execute manual and semi-automated testing on HIL test environments within Safety Vehicle Automation (SVA).
The role focuses on operating HIL rigs, executing test cases, monitoring test execution, and supporting issue reproduction and analysis in close collaboration with HIL Infrastructure and CI teams.

Requirements

• Automotive testing or verification experience
• Experience working with HIL test environments as an operator or tester
• Basic understanding of automotive electrical/electronic systems
• Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)
• Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Ability to follow test procedures and document results accurately
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Hands-on, structured, and quality-focused mindset
• Valid Swedish driver’s license (B) is required for this role

Nice to Have

• Experience with dSPACE HIL systems
• Basic scripting or automation exposure (CAPL, Python)
• Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and protocols
• Exposure to ADAS, autonomous driving, or safety-related systems
• Experience supporting automated test execution or CI-driven testing

Job responsibilities

• Operate HIL test rigs for manual and semi-automated test execution
• Execute test cases according to test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Prepare HIL environments for testing, including basic setup and configuration
• Monitor test execution and capture logs, measurements, and test evidence
• Perform basic fault reproduction and initial issue analysis
• Report test results, defects, and observations in defect tracking systems
• Support HIL Infrastructure Engineers during debugging and fault tracing
• Validate fixes by re-running tests on HIL environments
• Ensure correct handling and usage of HIL equipment
• Follow defined testing processes, ways of working, and safety guidelines
• Contribute to test documentation and test execution reports
