The project focuses on evolving a previously successful private beta service into a robust, scalable, and production-ready solution. It utilizes advanced AI and large language models (LLMs) to extract meaningful, contextual information from complex technical documents, such as equipment specification sheets. After a period of limited maintenance, the project is now entering a phase of active development, driven by a strong demand for new features. Key goals include enhancing core capabilities, improving performance through efforts like load testing, and ensuring the solution can operate effectively at an enterprise scale. This initiative plays an important role in supporting the broader vision of delivering a comprehensive data and AI platform for industrial applications.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in a software development environment.
  • Advanced English.

Core Product Owner Skills:

  • Ability to define and communicate product vision and roadmap.
  • Skill in aligning product strategy with business goals.
  • Proficiency in backlog management and prioritization.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
  • Experience in participating in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (engineers, designers, users, management).
  • Proficiency in stakeholder analysis and needs elicitation.

Technical Skills/Aptitude:

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineers.
  • Familiarity with software development processes.
  • (Plus) Experience with APIs and data integration.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, especially LLMs.
  • (Nice to have) Understanding of data schemas and data modeling.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

Domain Knowledge:

  • (Highly desirable) Understanding of industrial operations, data, and workflows.
  • (Plus) Familiarity with document processing and data extraction challenges.

Job responsibilities

  • Elicit and analyze user requirements.
  • Translate requirements into user stories.
  • Define extraction schemas for the parser.
  • Act as the development team’s point of contact.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Ensure product quality through testing.
  • Support LLM prompt and data specification.
  • Incorporate parsing result previews.
  • Enable extraction from complex documents.
  • Communicate with stakeholders.
  • Build stakeholder relationships.
  • Create and maintain documentation.
