Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Java Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development for a leading telecommunications provider.

Requirements

Excellent Java Core and data structure/bit operations knowledgeExperience with RESTful web services and microservice architecture
Pub/Sub messaging pattern knowledge
AWS Services knowledge (AWS IoT, SQS, RDS, S3, Redshift)
Experience with MongoDB, will plus experience in MySQL or PostgreSQL, and query optimization
Understanding of distributed application development concepts
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps infrastructure
Networking knowledge
Java server-side development
Experience in telecom is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact well with both internal teams and external customers.
Team player
Spoken English

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and secure platform services and components using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with architects and other engineering teams to define technical designs and specifications.
Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code standards and share knowledge.
Investigate and resolve defects and production issues in a timely manner.
Support the operation and monitoring of services in production environments.
Contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture and technology stack.
Work closely with project management and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Follow established design, coding, and security standards.
