The customer is a leading multinational provider of the telecommunication technologies and services.

The product is a network configuration and inventory management system designed for the telecommunications industry. This is a platform for planning, designing, rearranging and documenting the inventory of complex communication services and networks. It provides a comprehensive view of your services, resources, and networks and the relationships among them. The system enables the communication carriers to manage their network inventory, track current assets, develop complex configurations, and schedule future resources for wireless, wireline, voice-based or databased services.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Experience in Automation QA with Java 2+ years.
  • Testing theory
  • Java core, OOP.
  • REST API (RestAssured).
  • Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience with frameworks like Junit/TestNG + Gradle/Maven.
  • Experience/Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles.
  • VCS (Git/Gerrit).
  • Bug Tracking System (Jira).
  • Intermediate+ English level

Nice to have:

  • Automation tools (Jenkins)
  • Reporting tools (Allure)
  • Telecom/OSS/BSS background.
  • Scrum/Agile experience.
    Linux systems (Linux bash)
  • Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
    SQL/PSQL

Job responsibilities

Be a part of Scrum team.

  • Involvement in Quality Control process on a daily basis: monitor regression results, create bug reports, communicate with other teams.
  • Maintenance of UI & API test automation frameworks: improvement of frameworks, test development & updating existing ones.
  • Maintenance of QA CI/CD automation (particularly daily regression test pipelines & automation infrastructure – grids and test envs).
  • Participation in quality improvement process – daily and weekly meetings about pass-rates and test development/improvement work.
  • Performing full regression testing for previous product releases by customer request and providing quality reports.
