We’re looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our high-performing GlobalLogic team, where we design and develop embedded software for next-generation vehicle systems. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Proficiency in Python scripting and developing automated test suites
• Strong background in embedded systems testing
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix-like environments
• Experience in CI/CD workflows and modern QA methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience with remote testing and debugging tools
• Skills in crash dump analysis and in-depth software issue investigation
• Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of Automotive Infotainment Systems

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for middleware features in next-gen infotainment systems
• Lead test development, execution, and reporting throughout the software lifecycle
• Analyze bugs and system issues, including crash dumps and remote failures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps and improve processes
• Create and manage automated testing frameworks and pipelines
• Own test strategies and contribute to continuous integration efforts
• Ensure product reliability through regression, functional, and exploratory testing
