Description

Our client is a leader in navigation systems for the world’s top automotive brands. Together, we are working on a platform that serves as the central nervous system for the next generation of software-defined vehicles and automated logistics. As a Lead Developer, you will help us in building the systems that allow millions of autonomous devices to “see” and navigate the world in real-time. You aren’t just building apps; you are building the infrastructure for the future of global movement.

Requirements

• ~10 years in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead or high-level senior capacity
• Deep expertise in Java and professional experience with Kotlin
• Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot
• Proven experience with AWS
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, English-speaking environment
• Proactiveness, ability to lead a standalone team in close cooperation with the customer
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with navigation services (nice to have)

Job responsibilities

• Drive the full development lifecycle—from analyzing requirements and providing accurate estimates to planning and executing high-priority tasks
• Own code quality through rigorous reviews and testing, while proactively identifying technical risks and maintaining project configuration integrity
• Support team members in troubleshooting, conduct internal trainings, and act as a technical mentor to foster professional growth
• Partner with Project Managers and Architects to manage task assignments and maintain clear communication with the customer
• Independently improve development processes and ensure the team maintains comprehensive, high-standard technical documentation
