GlobalLogic is seeking a highly skilled Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to lead process excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across our production and operations teams. This role plays a key part in improving quality, efficiency, and scalability within global mapping and annotation ecosystem by driving data-driven decision-making, automation, and standardization. Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and geo-data experts to optimize workflows, reduce defects, and enhance the overall accuracy and timeliness of the data.

Requirements

  • Possess over 12 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence roles.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (mandatory).
  • Proven expertise in digital mapping, geospatial data operations, or similar large-scale, data-driven production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data analytics tools for process automation, performance monitoring, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Lean, Kaizen, and DMAIC methodologies, with demonstrated success applying them to real-world operations.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Geomatics, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Must possess any graduation degree (Must have Provisional Certificate & Consolidated Marks Memo)
  • Must be willing to work from office & in rotational shifts (5 Working Days & 2 Week Offs)
  • Must be ready to join immediately

Job responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects to deliver measurable improvements in quality, productivity, and operational efficiency across data production and related processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and geo-data teams to enhance data accuracy, eliminate rework, and streamline end-to-end workflows.
  • Analyze and map existing processes, conduct root cause analyses, and apply statistical tools to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement automation and analytics-driven solutions (Python preferred) to optimize key operational processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Define and monitor KPIs related to data quality, freshness, and throughput to ensure sustained performance and accountability.
  • Coach and mentor Green Belts and project teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Standardize processes globally, ensuring alignment with corporate transformation goals and best practices across regional operations.
  • Develop and deliver executive reports, including project charters, progress updates, and ROI analyses, to communicate results and insights to leadership.
