Description

We are seeking an experienced MLOps Lead to design, build, and scale end-to-end machine learning platforms and workflows. The ideal candidate will lead the MLOps function, enabling reliable model development, deployment, monitoring, and governance across the organization. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with MLflow, Kubeflow, AWS SageMaker, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform, along with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, and AWS SageMaker
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with REST/gRPC-based model serving
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Cloud & Data
• Deep experience with AWS services (S3, IAM, EC2, ECR, EKS)
• Understanding of data pipelines and feature stores
• Familiarity with security best practices for ML systems
• Leadership & Soft Skills
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Job responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and mentor a team of MLOps and platform engineers.
• Define and drive MLOps strategy, best practices, and standards across ML lifecycle.
• Partner with Data Science, Engineering, Security, and Product teams to operationalize ML solutions.
• Own architecture decisions for scalable, secure, and cost-effective ML platforms.
• ML Platform & Pipeline Engineering
• Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and manage reproducible ML workflows using Kubeflow Pipelines.
• Implement experiment tracking, model registry, and versioning using MLflow.
• Deploy and manage ML models on AWS SageMaker and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• CI/CD & Automation
• Develop robust CI/CD pipelines for ML and data workflows using Jenkins.
• Automate model testing, validation, and deployment processes.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with container registries and infrastructure provisioning.
• Containerization & Orchestration
• Containerize ML workloads using Docker.
• Deploy, scale, and manage ML services using Kubernetes.
• Implement blue-green and canary deployments for ML models.
• Infrastructure & Cloud
• Design and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Provision and maintain cloud resources for training and inference workloads.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and observability of ML systems.
• Monitoring, Governance & Reliability
• Implement model monitoring for performance, drift, and data quality.
• Establish logging, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Enforce ML governance, reproducibility, and compliance standards.
