Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with over 15 years of industry experience to lead our architecture initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in .NET Core 8.0, Microservices, PostgreSQL, and a wide range of cloud and design technologies. You will be responsible for crafting robust, scalable solutions and guiding our technical teams through complex architectural challenges.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience: 15+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a senior technical role with a strong focus on .NET Core, Microservices, and cloud technologies.

Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in .NET Core 8.0 and Microservices architecture. Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization.
Extensive experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, Kafka, Amazon Kinesis), and cloud platforms (Azure is a plus).
Proficiency in caching technologies (Redis, Elasticache) and application monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch).
Strong skills in software design and documentation using UML and UMA diagrams.

Soft Skills:
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to guide and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience with additional monitoring and logging tools or methodologies.

Job responsibilities

Architecture Strategy and Design:
Lead the design and implementation of sophisticated architecture solutions utilizing .NET Core 8.0 and Microservices.
Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture frameworks and documentation using UML, UMA diagrams, and other software design tools.
Create high-level design and strategy for integrating PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.

Cloud and Messaging Integration:
Architect solutions leveraging AWS services such as SQS (Simple Queue Service), SNS (Simple Notification Service), Kafka, and Amazon Kinesis for effective messaging, streaming, and event- driven processes.
Implement caching solutions with Redis and Elasticache to optimize performance and scalability.
Utilize Datadog and AWS CloudWatch for advanced monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.

Leadership and Mentorship:
Provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Technical Excellence:
Oversee the application of best practices in software development, including design patterns, coding standards, and robust testing methodologies.
Ensure the integration of effective security measures within architecture designs.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with stakeholders, including product managers and business leaders, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Performance Optimization:
Implement and manage performance monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch) to proactively address potential issues and optimize application performance.
Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Documentation and Best Practices:
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of architectural designs, standards, and technical processes.
Develop and promote best practices for architecture and development across the organization.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation within the organization.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability.
