One of the leading American transportation services companies. The company operates in the automotive retail, truck leasing, transportation, logistics, and motorsports industries.This project’s goal is to modernize their Rental applications usinf microservices architecture. 

Requirements

Qualifications
10+ years of experience in software design and development of Java based Application.
5+ years of experience in Microservices based solutions.
3+ Years of experience in Angular and other UI Frameworks.
Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

Good To Have
Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
Experience with API design and management.
Experience with distributed tracing and monitoring.
Experience with security and compliance best practices.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Lead System Engineer to join our team. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and driving the design and development of our micro services-based applications. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.

Resource is expected to be in the office in Reading, PA at least 3 days every week.
