Associate Manager
Client Engagement

You will work as part of the UKI Client Engagement team, providing process, support and structural rigour across all the UKI delivery portfolios. As a Portfolio Support Team Lead you will manage the Portfolio Support Team (PST), reporting into the Client Engagement Head. Working closely with the Portfolio Delivery Directors & Portfolio Support Analysts to ensure each account within the portfolio has the appropriate procedures, processes and governance in place.

Technical Insight:
• Excellent knowledge of project and portfolio management tooling for staffing, planning, tracking and delivery of services using PSA
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle and SFDC integration with portfolio management tooling
• Knowledge of supporting tools such as Jira, Trello, Ironclad Etc.
Market Knowledge
• Maintains market awareness for latest developments in the industry that could be applied to facilitate the provision of services to the organization
Business Development
• Work collaboratively with the portfolios to support and monitor business development opportunities
• Adherence to the delivery sign on/sign off processes
• Co-ordinate any useful insights from contractor conversations and customer stakeholders to be fed back to the Portfolio Delivery Directors.
Commercial Management
• Management and administration of contract staff including individual SOW creation and contract renewals
• Consistent team understanding of the reporting available. Working with the Client Engagement Head to implement commercial management processes.
• Compliance with repository & naming conventions outlined by the Delivery Assurance Director
• Ensure the input GL analytics forecast for applicable engagements
Delivery Execution and Assurance
• Implementatio and iteration of procedures & processes in collaboration with the Delivery Assurance Director
• Coordination of consistent reporting across the portfolios
• Management of assurance activities to ensure compliance to the governance approach
• Ensure project creation, task creation and At-risk submission is accurately implemented by the Portfolio Support Analysts
• Ensure milestone creation, document attachments, expenses and billing event submissions are owned by the team where applicable or understood and owned by the engagement manager for projects within each account
• Ensure vacancy creation & approval for existing consultants on Glo Recruit
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation & approval on RAA
• Period management to support month end closure
• Fulfil an advisory/problem solving role across the team
• Submission of SOW’s, RSS sheets on appropriate engagements
• Reconciliation between customer portals and PSA to avoid discrepancies with time booking/invoicing
• Contractor compliance with GL mandatory training
Customer Relationships
• Work with the account and portfolio teams to understand the needs of the customers and the value they are seeking by engaging with GL
• Provide solid understanding of the customer portals, supporting processes and plans for alignment with GL systems.
Leadership
• Developing and mentoring the team of Portfolio Support Analysts
• Ensure effective communications are in place within the team
• Identify and contribute to change activities and execute initiatives against the change management strategy and plan
• Line management responsibilities for the Portfolio Support Team, to include goal setting, training plans, performance assessment and general management responsibilities
