The Project Manager – Turnkey Delivery & Vehicle Programs is responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of systems and components provided by turnkey suppliers, ensuring successful integration into vehicle programs. This role acts as the central point of communication between internal teams, external partners, and vehicle program stakeholders, focusing on delivery performance, schedule adherence, and quality metrics.
The Project Manager will oversee delivery timelines, monitor program milestones, and generate reporting to track progress and support decision-making across product development phases
Key Responsibilities
1. Turnkey Supplier Coordination Manage relationships with turnkey providers responsible for delivering complete systems or subsystems.
Ensure suppliers meet delivery, integration, and quality expectations according to vehicle program timelines.
Facilitate technical and program-level discussions to align supplier outputs with internal vehicle architecture and requirements.
2. Vehicle Program Delivery Management
Act as the main interface between turnkey suppliers and vehicle program teams.
Ensure alignment of project timelines with overall vehicle development schedules (e.g., VP, SOP).
Track delivery readiness for each program milestone and escalate risks or deviations proactively.
3. Program Reporting & Metrics
Define, track, and report on key program KPIs such as milestone completion, defect closure rates, readiness status, and delivery quality.
Provide regular program status updates and dashboards to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Support milestone reviews, executive reporting, and readiness assessments.
4. Timing & Milestone Management
Manage detailed timing plans for each turnkey component or system.
Identify dependencies and interface points between turnkey content and other vehicle systems.
Ensure all relevant timing information is communicated back to vehicle program managers for full vehicle planning.
5. Risk & Issue Management
Identify risks related to delivery, integration, and validation; create and track mitigation plans.
Facilitate resolution of delivery issues by coordinating across engineering, purchasing, quality, and logistics teams.
