Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Lead to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership, and a commitment to fostering a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior QA role.
• Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire, protect, and enable ownership within a team.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Excellent Postman skills for API testing.
• Familiarity with Azure Pipelines for CI/CD processes.
• A quick learner with a very high level of attention to detail.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new contexts and high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
• A good sense of humor is a plus!

Job responsibilities

• Drive the overall QA strategy and execution for multiple projects or product areas, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality gates.
• Raise awareness for potential risks and ensure quality standards are integrated into all phases of development.
• Be actively involved in testing activities, demonstrating ownership when necessary, and providing hands-on support and guidance to the team, knowing when to intervene and assist.
• Define, develop, and execute robust test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing (functional, non-functional, integration, regression).
• Utilize strong SQL knowledge to query databases for data validation, complex test setup, and troubleshooting.
• Good Postman skills for efficient API testing and validation.
• Work with Azure Pipelines for deployment process is a plus.
• Demonstrate the ability to quickly switch contexts, adapt to new project requirements and environments, and cope effectively with periods of high pressure.
• Facilitate effective communication within the QA team and with cross-functional stakeholders (developers, product managers, DevOps) to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Identify and implement improvements to QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure clear and concise documentation of test plans, results, and defects.
