Requirements

• 2‑3+ years of commercial experience in software testing of embedded or telecom systems.
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and propose ideas & solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with hardware interfaces such as UART, USB, IP, or similar.
• Proven experience with test automation using Python.
• Experience building test frameworks (e.g., pytest) and automated test suites.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate on the development and maintenance of our customer’s IoT product portfolio—think floodlight cameras, smart doorbells, smart alarms, home security devices, and more.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests and testing frameworks (primarily in Python).
• Perform technical assessments to improve system performance, reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with Developers and Engineers to implement fixes and improvements.
• Take ownership of agreed goals: be proactive, suggest improvements, and help define how we achieve objectives.
• Work closely with an international R&D team, including experts in the USA, gaining access to unique technology, tools, and know-how.
