Description

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Research Operations Specialist to support our growing UX Research team. In this role, you will help scale and streamline our research practices, improve operational efficiency, and create the infrastructure that enables researchers to focus on what they do best: uncovering insights to inform product and design decisions.
This is a pivotal role that blends project management, systems thinking, and people-centered support to improve the overall impact of research across the organization.

You’ll be joining a globally distributed product organization with teammates in Canada, the UK, and across Europe. While many of us enjoy in-person collaboration when possible, we’re fully equipped to support remote work.

Our team works closely with product designers, engineers, and researchers to build tools that help over 3,400 customers make smarter decisions through human insight. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in research operations, project coordination, or UX research support.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Familiarity with user research methods and ethical considerations in research.
  • Comfortable working with research tools like dScout, UserTesting, Maze, Notably, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you can collaborate cross-functionally and proactively.
  • Empathy for both users and researchers—you thrive on making others’ work easier and more effective.
  • Bonus: Experience in compliance, privacy, or data governance.

Job responsibilities

  • Participant Management: Oversee recruitment logistics, screen participants, manage incentives, and maintain relationships with research panel providers or tools.
  • Team Enablement: Partner with researchers to support project planning, scheduling, and execution logistics.
  • Tooling & Systems: Own and maintain research tools (e.g., recruitment platforms, knowledge management tools, transcription software). Evaluate and implement new tools as needed.
  • Process Design: Develop and document scalable research processes, templates, and best practices. Help standardize and improve workflows for efficiency and consistency.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure that research practices follow legal, ethical, and data privacy standards (e.g., consent, GDPR, data handling).
  • Knowledge Management: Support the organization and discoverability of research insights. Maintain research repositories and taxonomies to make insights accessible and reusable.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from researchers and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve research operations and team health.
