Description

The main project you’ll be working on involves two desktop applications: one used in factories and another used by retailers to access ride and bike data in order to support users of a mobile app that connects to the e-bike.

Requirements

• 5+ yrs. relevant experience with Automation mindset, tools & frameworks
• Experience with desktop applications testing is a plus
• Strong development skills in python
• Ability to define and implement processes to streamline automation work on the project
• Experience working with external HW is a plus
• Openness to coach and grow people on respective technical area of expertise
• Ability to clearly articulate an automation strategy and coach the client into embracing it
• ISTQB certification
• SQL and Database knowledge
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Software architectures and concepts understanding
• Experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions
• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• SQL and Database knowledge• Good ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Good command of English
• Good communication skills
• Good assertiveness

Job responsibilities

• Analyze the requirements for test automation
• Take initiative to clarify and discuss with stakeholders what needs to be automated
• Offer mentoring and coaching support to your team members
• Implement service level integration tests
• Perform high-quality testing activities for desktop complex applications
• Create, execute, maintain, review, document and improve automated tests, tools and scripts
• Participate in short to long-term project plans and strategies• Contribute to test framework enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to automation standards
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
• Identify, document and track defect
