We are seeking a skilled DevOps to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, automating, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, stability, and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS products. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to embed performance considerations throughout the development lifecycle and to uphold best practices in system performance.

About the project: The contextualization platform enables large-scale data integration and entity matching across heterogeneous sources. The current engineering focus is to modernize the architecture for better scalability and orchestration compatibility, refactor core services, and lay the foundation for future AI-based enhancements. This is a pivotal development initiative with clear roadmap milestones and direct alignment with a multi-year digital transformation strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, preferably within SaaS or cloud-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in programming or scripting languages, including Java or Python.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) focusing on performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for analyzing performance metrics, such as Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or equivalents.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, web services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance-related services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within agile teams.

Nice to have:

  • Experience testing large-scale distributed systems and managing high volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with frontend performance testing and related tools.
  • Knowledge of React and JSON, particularly for test data preparation and API performance testing.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, or similar.
  • Understanding of network protocols and their effects on performance.

Job responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable delivery of the CMP.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing and deployment workflows.
  • Manage and monitor environments across development, staging, and production, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement security best practices within deployment pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Support containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes, alongside cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Ensure comprehensive observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to maintain system stability.
