We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Cybersecurity Assurance to establish and lead our first offshore cybersecurity assurance team, headquartered in Buenos Aires. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-impact cybersecurity assurance services to global clients, driving operational excellence, and playing a pivotal role in scaling our offshore capabilities.
As the senior-most cybersecurity leader in-region, you will set the strategic direction for the team, oversee delivery quality, and optimize operations for both performance and cost-efficiency. You will also serve as the bridge between offshore and onshore leadership, ensuring alignment across time zones, cultures, and technical domains.
This is a foundational leadership role at the intersection of cybersecurity, global operations, and enterprise transformation.

-10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, or assurance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role
-Deep expertise in cybersecurity compliance and assurance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, SOC 1/2, PCI-DSS, NIST, and GDPR
– Exposure to penetration testing, vulnerability management, or secure architecture reviews (technical literacy is a must; hands-on experience is a plus)
– Proven track record of managing large-scale teams (30+ FTEs) in client-facing, professional services, or consulting environments
– Experience with budget ownership, headcount planning, and cost optimization initiatives
– Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, make decisions with limited information, and remain adaptable under pressure in a new and evolving work environment.

– Demonstrated ability to build offshore or nearshore teams and improve operational maturity over time
– Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Spanish and English
– Strong executive presence and ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
– Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field; advanced degrees preferred
– Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO Lead Auditor, CRISC)
– Based in Buenos Aires with strong knowledge of the regional talent landscape
– Passionate about building from the ground up and scaling sustainable delivery organizations
– Comfortable working in fast-paced, global environments with shifting priorities
– Data-driven mindset and strong business acumen with an eye for operational efficiency
– Culturally agile and experienced in managing distributed, multicultural teams
Cybersecurity Assurance Leadership
– Lead the delivery of cybersecurity assurance services aligned with leading frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC1, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, NIST, and others.
– Drive methodology development and quality assurance standards across readiness assessments, audits,
compliance reviews, and control validation engagements.
– Provide executive oversight and strategic direction on areas such as client interviews, control testing, evidence review, risk testing exceptions,remediation, quality assurance reviews, and reporting.
– Offer consultative guidance to both internal teams and external clients on cybersecurity controls, compliance
readiness, and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Offshoring & Operational Execution
– Build and operationalize the company’s first offshore cybersecurity assurance function, serving as a model for future global delivery expansion.
– Drive cost efficiency, productivity, and scalability across the offshore delivery model, implementing key
performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and utilization targets.
– Identify and deploy process automation, standardization opportunities, and tooling enhancements to improve
delivery throughput and consistency.
– Collaborate with senior global leaders on budget forecasting, resource planning, and long-term offshore strategy.
– Manage vendor relationships, local partners, or contracting support as needed to scale operations effectively.
People & Culture Leadership
– Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and developing a large team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a high- performance culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusion.
– Promote talent retention through leadership development, career pathing, and team engagement initiatives.
– Lead by example as a visible executive presence in the region, helping instill the company’s values, ethics, and client-centric culture; earning trust and fostering relationships to drive engagement and alignment with those values.
– Ability to leverage self-awareness, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across diverse teams.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
– Serve as a senior point of contact for key internal and external stakeholders, including global client executives, onshore service delivery leaders, and audit oversight.
– Translate complex technical and compliance concepts into business-focused insights and recommendations.
– Ensure consistent, proactive communication between onshore and offshore teams across time zones, supporting
seamless integration into global delivery workflows.
