Integrating services with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS systems using EF.

Job responsibilities

Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core / ASP.NET 

Build backend logic and RESTful services that interact with databases using Entity Framework.

2. Database Design and ORM Implementation
Develop and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework or EF Core.

Implement code-first or database-first approaches for data modeling.

Write efficient and optimized LINQ queries and manage EF migrations.

3. Query Performance and Optimization
Identify and resolve performance issues in EF (e.g., N+1 problems, slow queries).

Use tools like SQL Profiler or EF logging to analyze query performance.

Apply caching and batching strategies to improve application responsiveness.

4. Database and Data Integrity Management
Design normalized relational database schemas and manage relationships.

Ensure data integrity using EF Fluent API, Data Annotations, and validation logic.

Implement automatic and manual migrations using dotnet ef tools.

5. Testing and Debugging
Create and maintain unit tests and integration tests for EF data access logic.

Debug and resolve EF-related bugs such as migration conflicts, lazy loading errors, or tracking issues.

6. API Development and Integration
Design and consume REST APIs that interact with EF for data persistence.

Secure endpoints using JWT, OAuth, or other authentication mechanisms.

Integrate with external services or microservices when needed.

7. Collaboration and Agile Participation
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features.

Document technical specifications and data models.

8. DevOps and CI/CD Involvement
Contribute to automated build and deployment pipelines.

Use tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for CI/CD integration.

Bonus Responsibilities (Advanced Roles)
Implement the Repository and Unit of Work patterns for decoupling EF logic.

Use Dapper or raw SQL alongside EF where needed for performance.
