Description

This project aims to evolve a successful internal prototype into a robust, scalable, and production-ready feature. It leverages AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract contextualized data from industrial documentation such as specification sheets and manuals. Moving out of a maintenance phase, the initiative has a rich backlog driven by strong customer demand. The team is focused on enhancing functionality, improving performance (including through load testing), and preparing the service for enterprise-scale deployment.

Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to join a newly formed Scrum team working on a document parsing solution. This role involves developing and enhancing the user interface and user experience for a feature that extracts and validates data from industrial documents. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and UX designers to implement new features, improve usability and responsiveness, and deliver a high-quality user experience.

Must-have Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on React and Typescript
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Typescript
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
• Experience with building responsive web applications
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in an agile development environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in an English-speaking team
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, a natural science field, or equivalent practical experience

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with UI component libraries
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with performance optimization for frontend applications
• Knowledge of industrial data or domain-specific documentation
• Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Python, Kotlin)

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement elegant, intuitive user interfaces using React and TypeScript

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend services via APIs

• Work with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, responsive web applications

• Implement features that allow users to easily upload documents, define schemas, trigger parsing tasks, and review/validate extracted data

• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts

• Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews

• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues

• Work closely with our skilled users to understand their needs and build products to help them succeed
