We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with a strong foundation in Java (Spring Boot) and hands-on experience working with cloud-native technologies. Requirements

5+ years of experience in backend development with Java (Spring Boot).

Hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, etc.).
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
Strong debugging skills, performance tuning, and system monitoring expertise.
Familiarity with C# for maintaining existing services (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize production systems, including logging, debugging, and fault

Nice to Have
Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
Experience with observability tools for system monitoring.
Knowledge of message queues, streaming platforms, and real-time data processing.

Job responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java (Spring Boot) in a microservices architecture.

Build and deploy services in cloud-native environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring performance and reliability in production.

Integrate and manage AWS services such as IAM, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and more to support infrastructure and application security.

Contribute to the design and implementation of event-driven architectures and distributed systems, ensuring system resilience and scalability.

Own the monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning of services, proactively identifying and resolving production issues.

Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure systems are observable, reliable, and well-instrumented.

Maintain and support a limited number of legacy services developed in C#, ensuring service continuity (preferred but not required).

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning, actively contributing to team improvement and best practices.

Troubleshoot complex system issues in production, including logging, fault isolation, and root cause analysis.

Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices, particularly in cloud computing, container orchestration, and real-time data processing.
