Description

We are looking for a Computer Vision Expert to join the company and work on different AI-related projects, switching to a new project once the current one is complete. The first project would be a POC aimed at dramatically improving the reliability and robustness of current ADC models, with a target performance increase from 85% to 95-99%. The focus is on implementing advanced Computer Vision techniques to overcome critical limitations related to data scarcity and model generalization.

The current ADC models suffer from four primary issues to be fixed:

Low-Data Performance: Inability to train well when defect types have minimal training samples (<30).
Lack of Robustness: Models fail to generalize when there are process changes or variations in imaging conditions.
Data Quality: Model training is hampered by poor data quality, inconsistencies, and errors in manual defect classification.
New Layer Deployment: Difficulty in performing critical classification (e.g., Real vs NVD) on new layers where no historical training data exists.

And many more new AI/CV opportunities inside the business group.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in a major deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and experience with CNNs, Transformers, or other state-of-the-art architectures.
• Proven ability to build models that perform reliably under adversarial conditions or distribution shifts.
• Practical experience with techniques like transfer learning, meta-learning, or advanced data augmentation to achieve high accuracy with minimal training data.
• Expertise in developing and evaluating computer vision models for complex classification or detection tasks.
• Excellent Python programming skills and comfort with rapid iteration in an agile research/POC environment.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking for Computer Vision Expert to rapidly drive a critical POC initiative in ADC modeling to boost model reliability.
Your responsibilities will be focused on:

• Upgrade Computer Vision solutions to boost ADC accuracy from 85% to 95%+, ensuring stability across varying process shifts and imaging conditions.
• Build robust data pipelines and implement advanced learning techniques to train high-performing models with minimal training samples.
• Collaborate with other CV experts to run fast-paced experiments, benchmarking new research and vision-language models against critical performance targets.
• Apply MLOps best practices to ensure models are production-ready, reproducible, and easily integrated.
