Requirements

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have):

5+ years of professional experience in backend software development, primarily with Python.

Experience with SQL Server development, including stored procedures, optimization, indexing, and T-SQL.

Deep practical experience developing production-grade services using FastAPI and modern async Python.

Demonstrated experience designing and tuning systems with a dedicated database performance mindset.

Proven ability to work effectively with multi-tenant systems and related security models.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing services within the Azure cloud environment.

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of concurrency patterns in Python (e.g., asyncio).

 

Desired Skills & Experience (Nice-to-Have):

Prior experience with or strong willingness to quickly learn LangChain/LangGraph for building complex LLM orchestration pipelines.

Experience in LLM/agent development concepts (tool calling, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines).

Familiarity with ERP system integration challenges and architectures.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer to be a foundational member of a team responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and multi-tenant backend services that power our clients’ AI agents.

Key Responsibilities:

API and Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, high-performance, and asynchronous APIs using FastAPI to serve both internal and external services.

Database Engineering: Architect and optimize complex database schemas and queries within SQL Server, applying a strong database performance mindset to ensure low-latency data access for agents.

Scalability & Concurrency: Implement backend systems with a deep concurrency understanding in Python to handle high-volume, multi-user requests efficiently within a multi-tenant environment.

Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize and manage core Azure services for deployment, scaling, monitoring, and data storage, applying expert knowledge of the Azure cloud environment.

Multi-tenancy Implementation: Design and enforce strict multi-tenant system segregation and security to ensure data isolation and compliance across all AI Studio components.

AI Agent Integration (Growth Opportunity): Contribute to the development and integration of large language models (LLMs) and custom AI agents, potentially leveraging frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph.
