Description

The Software Engineer I works as a member of the client development team responsible for our client’s Virtual Desktop Access components, which provide Identity, Authentication Management and Single Sign-On services for applications and virtual resources.

The Software Engineer I – EAM Client has knowledge of application development using Python and C++, as well as a proven record of delivering products. This role leverages our own software and that of customer’s partners to bring efficient and secure application experience to clinicians and providers.

Requirements

• Strong development skills using Python language

• Strong development skills using C++ language
• 1+ years of software engineering experience designing and building enterprise applications
• Experience with Linux a plus
• Experience with virtualization products – Citrix, VMWare is a plus
• Experience integrating third-party APIs or SDKs into an enterprise product a plus.
• Strong proven design skills with the ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high expectations.
• Solid experience with the full software development life cycle and a proven track record in successfully bringing products to market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact well with both internal teams and external customers and partners.
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree.

Job responsibilities

• Develop software for the client using Python

• Has basic knowledge of C++
• Design and code unit and automated tests that allow manual testing to focus on high-risk areas
• Work in a scrum team model, responsible for analyzing possible solutions, scoping, planning, and delivering new features
• Learn new virtualization / cloud offerings in a short time and help deliver VDA functionality on thin client devices
• Participate in scrum activities and help improve processes
• Work with different roles in the team in all aspects of software development
• Assist QE in defining areas to test and provide guidance as needed
• Investigate and troubleshoot any customer issues that are sent to the development team.
